Following our first phase of consultation, 6 draft key themes were identified;

  • OPPORTUNITIES - Young people have access to meaningful and local, skill building and employment opportunities
  • CONNECTION - Young people have a sense of connection and belonging to space, their peers and the wider community
  • SAFETY - Young people have a say in community safety measures and feel safer in Campbelltown City LGA

  • VOICE - Young people’s opinions and perspectives are sought, valued and heard
  • SUSTAINABILTY – Young people play a role in environmental practices and principals that contribute towards a more sustainable Campbelltown LGA

  • Guide and focus the community’s collective work with and for young people
  • Ensure that best-practice support and services are delivered for young people
  • Utilise a strong evidence base to help the community better meet the needs and aspirations of our young people
  • Ensure that young people are actively engaged and that the community is responsive to their needs
