Hi Robert, There is some major infrastructure running beneath the intersection of Eagle Vale Drive that we need the utility authority to review before works can proceed. We will let you know as soon as we have an update.

    Hi Nick,

The lights will be controlled by the RMS and Transport for NSW and will be set based on the traffic movement around the network.

  • Share Hi, why doesn't this upgrade include duplication of the Raby Road freeway overpass. This is the bottle neck to the afternoon peak. Hi Rob, We have taken your feedback on board and reported this to Transport for NSW as this is owned and operated by them and they would determine any improvements

  • Share You should also consider upgrading the Raby road bridge over Hume Motorway and the roundabout linked to the exit. This is a much bigger bottleneck in the afternoon and causes more congestion than the Eagle Vale Drive/Raby Road roundabout's morning congestion. on Facebook Share You should also consider upgrading the Raby road bridge over Hume Motorway and the roundabout linked to the exit. How many more beautiful and established trees are we going to lose due to “progress”? 😢

Michelle Arnold asked over 3 years ago

Hi Michelle, We had hoped that we could re-home the tree in a nearby park, but on expert arborist advice, it is not a viable option. We are arranging for 70 trees to be planted in some local parks to provide shade. The road upgrade project also includes more than 600 metres of landscaping with hundreds of plants along each side of the intersection.
