Public Exhibition of Draft Amendment No 19 (Glenfield East Precinct) to the Campbelltown (Sustainable City) Development Control Plan 2015
At its meeting on 14 February 2023, Council resolved to exhibit a draft site-specific development control plan (draft DCP) for the Glenfield East Precinct in accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and related Regulation.
It is anticipated that the draft DCP will guide the future development in Glenfield East Precinct as well as facilitating the urban renewal of this precinct.
Once adopted, the draft DCP will then be included in Volume 2 of the Campbelltown (Sustainable City) Development Control Plan (CSCDCP) as “Part 19 - Glenfield East Precinct”.
The draft DCP and supporting documentation will be on public exhibition and available to view from Wednesday 1 March 2023 until Friday 31 March 2023 at the following locations:
- During business hours at Council's administration centre at 91 Queen Street, Campbelltown
- Under the documents section on the right hand side of this page
- Forward your submission in writing addressed to the General Manager, Campbelltown City Council, PO Box 57, Campbelltown NSW 2560, by Friday 31 March 2023 quoting reference to the Draft Amendment No 19 (Glenfield East Precinct) to Campbelltown (Sustainable City) Development Control Plan 2015.

“Part 15 - Glenfield East” - Amendment to Volume 2 of the Campbelltown (Sustainable City) Development Control Plan 2015 (CSCDCP 2015)
At its meeting on 14 February 2023, Council resolved to publicly exhibit this amendment to Volume 2 of the CSCDCP 2015 by adding Part 15 entitled “Glenfield East” which was required in accordance with Clause 6.3 (Development control plans) of the Campbelltown Local Environmental Plan 2025 so further development consent could be granted in this precinct.
The draft amendment was placed on public exhibition from Wednesday, 1st March 2023 through until Friday, 31st March 2023, on Council’s website and the Civic Centre, before being formally adopted by the elected Council on 6 June 2023.
Part 15 (Glenfield East) of the CSCDCP 2015 will commence on Thursday, 22 June 2023 and can now be viewed on Council’s website.
