Public Exhibition of a Planning Proposal to amend Clause 4.4 ‘Floor Space Ratio’ Campbelltown Local Environmental Plan 2015 (Ref: 2598/2023/E-PP)

Council is publicly exhibiting a planning proposal relating to the amendment of clause 4.4 of Campbelltown Local Environmental Plan 2015 (CLEP 2015).

Clause 4.4 of CLEP 2015 provides floor space ratio (FSR) controls for development in the Campbelltown Local Government Area.

The objective of the planning proposal is to amend clause 4.4 to ensure the control of floor space of buildings as originally intended and in accordance with the clause objectives. The proposed rewording of clause 4.4, as detailed in the exhibition documents, is intended to remove the opportunity for unintended FSR outcomes resulting from the interplay of the subclauses.

The planning proposal relates to the land to which the provisions of CLEP 2015 apply. Council has been conditionally authorised to act as the local plan-making authority in this instance.

The planning proposal and supporting documentation will be on public exhibition and available to view from Monday 4 December 2023 until Friday 26 January 2024 on this Over To You Campbelltown page under Exhibition Documents, and at the following locations:
