Parking = Convenience

People go places because of convenience, if I cannot find a car space I will move on. If you take away all of the car spaces this will happen.

Also, business owners need to be able to park their cars and stay in their business all day without fear of receiving a fine, if not they may find another place to do business. There are very few all day spots and this can be determined by noting that the two main free public car parking area's backing onto the Moore Oxley bypass are full before 9am. Car parks don't need to be ugly, I would support multi story car parking with sustainable greenery.

While I am focused on cars, and the council is focusing on people, generally you can't get the people in without the cars so you have to facilitate both.
