Consultation has concluded

Dahua Group Sydney Project 2 Pty Ltd and Dahua Group Sydney Project 3 Pty Ltd, as landowner, have made an offer under S7.4 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act to enter into a VPA with Council.

The objective of the Draft VPA is to provide development contributions towards local infrastructure required in order to facilitate the development of all Dahua owned land within the Menangle Park Urban Release Area generally, excluding the Employment Lands as shown on the Development Area Plan which is Annexure 1 in the Draft VPA.

Council executed a VPA with Dahua on 4 February 2021 for Stages 1, 2A & 2B of the development of the Dahua owned land. These 3 stages accounted for 409 lots of the 4,525 lots estimated in total on the Dahua owned land and to which this Draft VPA applies. It is intended that upon the commencement of this document as a planning agreement pursuant to the Act, the Prior Planning Agreement would be revoked and superseded by this document.

What's next?

Following completion of the exhibition period, the Draft VPA and all feedback received will then then be reported to Council for consideration and endorsement.
