Council at its meeting on 11 July 2023 proposed to re-establish the following Alcohol Free Zones for the period 25 December 2023 to 24 December 2027 inclusive. 

Following public exhibition on this page from 19 July to 3 August 2023 and with no submissions received, Council at their meeting on 12 December 2023, voted to re-establish the North Area Alcohol-Free Zones over the streets, footpaths and car park areas detailed commencing 25 December 2023. 

Council at its meeting on 12 December 2023 also proposed to establish an Alcohol Prohibited Area in Macquarie Fields Park, Macquarie Fields. 

As no written objection to the establishment of the Alcohol Prohibited Area were received during the exhibition from 19 December 2023 to 2 January 2024 on this page, a public notice has been issued and the activation of the Alcohol Prohibited Area at Macquarie Fields Park will commence 22 January 2024.
