18 October 2021 UPDATE - Public Hearing Report available to view

The public hearing report relates to the Reclassification of Apex and Bradbury Parks, Bradbury Planning Proposal and has been provided as a result of the public hearing held virtually on 30 September 2021. The report has been produced by the Independent Chairperson of the Public Hearing, Sandy Hoy from Parkland Planners and details submissions raised in relation to the planning proposal.

The public hearing report was provided to Council on 15 October 2021 and has been made publically available on 18 October 2021 in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993.

The public hearing report will form part of a report to Council on 2 November 2021.

A public hearing will be held via Microsoft Teams to provide community members with the opportunity to share their views about a proposal to reclassify land bounded by The Parkway and Moore-Oxley Bypass, Bradbury from Community land to Operational land. The land is known as Apex Park and Bradbury Park, in which exists the Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre and the proposed Campbelltown Billabong.

The public hearing is scheduled to be held on Thursday, 30 September 2021 at 6pm, online via Microsoft Teams in accordance with the Public Health (COVID-19 Temporary Movement and Gathering Restrictions Order) 2021.

The public hearing will be chaired by an independent person from Parkland Planners in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993.

It should be noted that any statements made inside or outside the public hearing do not have the same privileges as in Parliament and are subject to laws of defamation.”

Interested persons will need to register their attendance by completing the form below by 12pm on Tuesday, 28 September 2021 to:

  • Virtually attend or listen to the hearing only, not address or speak.
  • Make a submission at the hearing.
