Dahua Group Sydney Project 2 Pty Ltd and Dahua Group Sydney Project 3 Pty Ltd, as landowner, have made an offer under Section 7.4 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 to enter into a Planning Agreement with Council.

The objective of the Planning Agreement is to implement three Vegetation Management Plans (VMPs) to ensure environmental impacts of development across Dahua’s landholdings in Menangle Park are adequately addressed.

The environmental conservation land within Menangle Park subject to the VMPs includes tracts of native Shale Plains Woodland and critically endangered Elderslie Banksia Scrub Forest. The implementation of the 3 VMPs serves to protect and enhance these native areas.

The agreement requires Dahua to carry out restoration, protection, and establishment works as well as pay monetary contributions to Council to fund the long-term management of these areas.
