For some time, it has been Council’s protocol to select specific themes to harmonise road names within suburbs and developments and provide some assistance to the travelling public.
The theme of renowned Australian Mountain Peaks and Ranges was previously used in the renewal area of Minto. Council is proposing the use of the following names from that theme for current and future development within Minto.
Council is seeking your feedback on the following proposed road names for use in the suburb of Minto:

Frenchmans - Frenchmans Cap in Tasmania
Horsfall - Mount Horsfall in Victoria
Howitt - Mount Howitt in Victoria
Jagungal - Mount Jagungal in NSW
Rams Head - Rams Head Range in NSW

Any submissions received during the exhibition period will be reviewed and possibly reported back to the next Ordinary Meeting of Council for a decision before final approval by the NSW Geographic Names Board (GNB).
