Consultation has concluded
Council is publicly exhibiting a Planning Proposal and a draft Site Specific DCP for the land known as the Kellicar Road Precinct, Campbelltown. The Planning Proposal seeks to amend the Campbelltown Local Environmental Plan 2015 (CLEP 2015) to:
increase the maximum permissible Height of Buildings development standard from 32m to 80m
introduce a floor space ratio (FSR) of 3.5:1 for all residential apartment buildings and commercial/retail development
include a site specific local clause to ensure that future development of the site includes sufficient open space and addresses the flooding issue.
The purpose of this Planning Proposal is to facilitate the redevelopment of the site as a mixed-use (residential, commercial and retail) development with a maximum building height of 80m.
The amendment to the CLEP 2015 is also supported by a draft site specific development control plan (draft DCP) which includes detailed built form guidelines and a master plan layout.
Delegation has not been issued to Council for making the LEP in this instance.
The planning proposal, associated documents and the draft DCP are on public exhibition from Monday 10 May 2021 until Monday 7 June 2021.
Submissions are to made in the following manner by 7 June 2021 and shall include the reference - PLANNING PROPOSAL - PP 2267/2018 – Kellicar Road Precinct
