Public Exhibition of Planning Proposal for the Glenlee House (Estate) No. 60 Menangle Road, Draft Site Specific Development Control Plan Part 8B Glenlee Estate and draft Voluntary Planning Agreement.

Council is seeking public comment on a planning proposal, draft Site Specific Development Control Plan Part 8B Glenlee Estate, draft Voluntary Planning Agreement and associated documents for the Glenlee House (Estate) located at No. 60 Menangle Road, Menangle Park.

The Planning Proposal seeks to amend the planning provisions under Campbelltown Local Environmental Plan (2015) to:

  • Rezone part of the site to Zone C4 Environmental Living with minimum lot size subdivision of 1,200 sqm
  • Rezone part of the site to Zone R3 Medium Density Residential
  • Rezone part of the site to Zone RE1 Public Recreation to enable a ridgetop park
  • Amend Height of Building Map and the Lot Size Map and Minimum Lot Size Dual Occupancy Map that apply to the site, and
  • other consequential amendments

The Planning Proposal is accompanied by draft Development Control Plan Part 8B Menangle Park – Volume 2 Campbelltown (Sustainable) City DCP 2015, a draft Voluntary Planning Agreement and Explanatory note.

An Overview Report summarises the progress of the draft Planning Proposal and its refinement from its lodgement with Council in 2021, together with background investigations/reports/studies are all available for viewing.

Council has been assigned the role of Local Plan – Making Authority in finalising the relevant amendment to Campbelltown Local Environmental Plan, 2015.

    Notice of Adoption - PART 8B Glenlee Estate DCP ( 60 Glenlee Road, Menangle Park)

    Council at its meeting held on Tuesday 13 August 2024 adopted a site specific development control plan for the site known as No. 60 Glenlee Road, Menangle Park that will become Part 8B Glenlee Estate of Volume 2 of the Campbelltown (Sustainable City) Development Control Plan.

    The plan will come into effect on the same date as the date of gazettal of the amendments to the Campbelltown Local Environmental Plan (CLEP) 2015 (relating to Glenlee Estate Planning Proposal), in accordance with Section 14 (2) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2021.
