Consultation has concluded

The purpose of the draft Local Housing Strategy 2041 is to ensure the delivery of housing options and supply in the Campbelltown Local Government Area is suitable for resident needs over the next 20 years. The draft Strategy was considered and endorsed for public exhibition by Council at its meeting on 13 December 2022, and comprises the updated version of the Campbelltown Local Housing Strategy previously endorsed by Council in September 2020.

The updated Strategy considers current demographic and census data for the Campbelltown Local Government Area, reaffirms Council's vision for housing outcomes, and meets the housing targets set for the Local Government Area by the State Government under the Western City District Plan.

The Strategy has been prepared considering community feedback received during the preparation of the Campbelltown Community Strategic Plan 2027 and Campbelltown Local Strategic Planning Statement on the types of housing options required to meet the lifestyle and needs of everyone in the Local Government Area over the next 20 years.

The Draft Campbelltown Local Housing Strategy 2041 is available to view from Monday 16 January 2023 until Wednesday 15 February 2023 at the following locations:
