Public Exhibition of a Planning Proposal to reclassify land at the Campbelltown Billabong Site (1070/2021/E-PP)

Consultation has concluded

Council is seeking public comment on a Planning Proposal and associated documents for land bounded by The Parkway and Moore-Oxley Bypass, Bradbury.

The primary objective of the Planning Proposal is to amend the Campbelltown Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2015 to reclassify the land from community to operational land. The primary object of the reclassification is to facilitate in the process of turning the proposed Billabong into a functioning project once it is completed in 2022. The reclassification would also allow Council to unlock land that may be considered under utilised and promote other uses that would work in cohesion with the Billabong.

In relation to this planning proposal, Council has not been authorised to act as the local plan-making authority.
