Consultation has concluded
We would like to thank our community for their initial ideas and feedback during the initial consultation in September for 4 new playspaces in Leumeah and Ruse.
The responses received for the new facilities was overwhelmingly positive.
We are happy to be able to share with you now in this next phase draft concept plans for each of the new playspaces.
The feedback from the initial consultation has guided the design in the following ways:
Locate the proposed playspaces away from the street edge and/or provide a landscape barrier treatment to protect pedestrians from the road network
Incorporate tall canopy tree planting along the north/western edge to increase provision of shade over the proposed playspace
Provision of accessible pathway connections to the local street network
Inclusion of support facilities such as bins and seating.
You can view each of the concept plans under the documents section on the right hand side of this page. We have included two different options (Option A and Option B) of play equipment on each concept plan. We would be keen to know your preference. We also encourage you to leave further feedback below.
You can also come chat to use onsite at each location, more details on the right hand side of this page.
Feedback is open until Friday 2 December 2022
