Consultation has concluded

We are holding holding Handmade and Home Grown Markets in 2022 and are seeking expressions of interest from stallholders that locally grow fresh produce only.

Our areas of interest include, but are not limited to;

  • Locally grown fruit, vegetables and herbs 
  • Locally grown and produced meat and poultry 
  • Honey
  • Jams, pickles, relishes, marinades, sauces
  • Dried fruits, muesli, healthy treats 
  • Spices
  • Fresh flowers 
  • Cultural foods 
  • Sweets, breads and gourmet cakes 

We are also seeking interest from local artisans with unique handmade goods that would complement the produce market.

The Farmer’s Market will be located in Lithgow Street opposite Glenalvon House and Lithgow Street Mall with approximately 15 stalls. Lithgow Street will be closed from Carberry lane to Anzac lane to facilitate the market location. 

The pop-up markets will provide an opportunity for Campbelltown residents to shop local, discover local produce and draw people into the city centre. 

The Market dates and times are:

  • Sunday February 20 2022, 8.30am-1.00pm
  • Sunday March 20 2022, 8.30am -1.00pm
  • Sunday April 10 2022, 8.30am -1.00pm
  • Sunday May 15 2022, 8.30am -1.00pm

There is no fee to be a stallholder at the markets.

To be considered as a stallholder the following terms and conditions apply:

  • Strong preference will be given to businesses based in the Campbelltown Local Government Area
  • Strong preference will be given to local producers, locally grown 
  • Stallholders must have all relevant permits/licenses to operate your business or willing to obtain prior to market date. 
  • All food products must be produced in a licensed commercial grade kitchen. 
  • Stallholders must have Public Liability Insurance
  • No power or electrical cables will be supplied. If power is required, Stallholders must supply their own silenced generator.
  • Stallholders are required to supply ALL of their own equipment, including but not limited to, a 3m x 3m gazebo with appropriate weights, own tables, chairs, flooring covers, and any other relevant stall equipment required to operate your stall
  • Stallholders are required to assist in the promotion of the event through their social networks
  • Stallholders must commit to having their stall open for the duration (9am-1pm) with up to 1 hour set up and pack down at either side of these operating hours.

Stallholders remain responsible for their own parking of vehicles during the markets, there is parking close by. Stallholder vehicles will be allowed to park as close to their site as possible, to unload and pack down. Vehicles are not permitted onsite during the event. Bump in times and maps will be supplied to stallholders in advance of the event.
