Have your say on the future of Lynwood Park
Community consultation is now open on the Draft Lynwood Park Football Precinct Master Plan, which will guide the long-term development of the precinct.
Located in St Helens Park, Lynwood Park is one of the region’s premier football facilities. The draft master plan sets out a vision to transform the site into a modern regional sports precinct while protecting the area's natural environment.
We're keen to hear from residents, sporting groups and the wider community before the master plan is finalised.
Proposed Improvements
The draft master plan outlines a range of potential improvements, including:
Upgraded playing fields
Relocation of Field 2 and conversion to a synthetic surface
Two formalised mini fields for SAP programs and warm-up activities
A new clubhouse
A new amenities building
Improved parking and site access
Expanded open space areas
A new play space
Environmental initiatives designed to support local biodiversity and koala habitat
Please note: The projects identified within the master plan are subject to funding opportunities becoming available.
Aims of the Draft Master Plan
The draft master plan aims to:
Balance sporting needs, community use and environmental protection
Provide a modern regional football (soccer) facility for the growing Macarthur region
Improve the functionality, accessibility and sustainability of the precinct
Enhance the park's role as a destination for sport, recreation and community connection
Lynwood Park plays an important role as the home of football (soccer) in Campbelltown, with more than 13,000 players registered across the Macarthur region. This highlights the need for a regional football facility that can support our growing sporting community while protecting the surrounding environment for future generations.
Have Your Say

Your feedback will help inform a master plan that balances sporting needs, community use and environmental protection for years to come.
Community consultation is open until Friday 17 July, 5pm
