Consultation has concluded
Phase two community consultation
Thank you to everyone who shared feedback on the proposed location for the new playspace. We heard that many community members preferred an alternative location, and we carefully considered all feedback alongside our own assessments.
As a result, we’re pleased to confirm that the playspace will now be located off Bensley Road.
The updated location is outlined in the pink circle within the red boundary lines, as seen below.
We appreciate your input, which has helped shape this outcome, and we look forward to creating a playspace that the whole community can enjoy.
Have your say about what should be included in this playspace.
Hazlett Reserve, Macquarie Fields Wednesday 1 October 4pm - 5pm
This playspace will be a neighbourhood-level playground.
A neighbourhood playspace is small in scale and designed to serve the community of a local suburb, usually within a 400m walking radius.
It includes a small range of play equipment suited to younger age groups.
These spaces typically offer features of seating and a shade sail.
We'd like to hear your thoughts on your preferences for play equipment, and we encourage you to share your feedback on the concept designs when available. The survey will be open from 29 October - 14 October.
